We form Australian companies for $A140,
plus the filing fee of $A400, a total of $A540.
As with our New Zealand companies,
we offer an electronic version, for $A500.
Requirements for an Australian company
To start an Australian company you will need:
- a Registered Office in Australia – this can be any physical address.
- at least one director who is an Australian resident
The companies we form are “proprietary companies”. They are limited to a maximum of 50 shareholders and they can not offer shares to the general public.
The formation process and requirements are similar to NZ’s.
Australian companies are controlled by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission [ASIC]. Each year on the anniversary of the registration of the company, an Annual Return and filing fee of $A240 are to be filed with ASIC.
